As an IT recycler and supplier of IT Services the company have overseen more than 3 million devices through the IT lifecycle and, as a result, are perfectly placed to provide their customers with guidance and advice through this complex market.
They offer a huge range of additional services, such as IT spares and logistics throughout the UK, as well as datacentre and office relocations, configuration and build, bonded stock, engineers and project managers along with their hardware specialist IT brokerage service.
The Role
The Service Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the Internal Engineering function, with a primary focus on the Breakfix service (reactive repair and maintenance). This is a fast:paced position that spans six sub:departments, all of which contribute to delivering thier Refurbishment service.
The role is integral to ensuring an excellent customer experience by providing accurate quotations, responding promptly to customer enquiries, coordinating with the supply chain, and driving operational output through effective organisation and administration.
As a Service Coordinator, the responsibilities are varied and require flexibility, covering a wide range of duties within the scope of the role.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as the first point of contact for customers, providing service information, updates, and responding to queries.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and key stakeholders.
* Ensure accuracy and attention to detail when preparing and issuing quotations.
* Maintain accurate records in the system, particularly in relation to stock movements.
* Proactively manage customer expectations by providing timely updates on repair progress.
* Generate and deliver customer reports, including stock levels, dispatch status, and service performance.
* Collaborate effectively with key internal teams, including Technicians, Warehouse, and Sales.
* Liaise with external partners such as customers, suppliers, and logistics providers.
* Monitor and drive Technician activity to ensure compliance with agreed SLAs.
Skills and Qualifications
* Previous experience in a customer:facing role.
* Outstanding customer service skills with a professional and approachable manner.
* Strong administrative abilities, with proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel).
* High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Proactive, adaptable, and able to respond effectively to changing priorities.
* A collaborative team player, committed to supporting colleagues and ensuring service success.
* Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively.
