We're looking for a kind, compassionate and resilient Support Worker to join our Team at Time4U

£30,476.16 per annum, working 48 hours per week.

Want to feel like you're making a difference? You'll feel at home here.

Making you feel at home here means creating an environment where you can truly thrive. That's why we offer a comprehensive range of benefits, a structured induction programme, and access to specialised training opportunities. These are not just symbolic gestures - they're part of a thoughtfully designed approach to supporting our team. After all, our people are doing something remarkable every day: helping to transform lives.

Our benefits include:

* Annual leave increasing up to 28 days with length of service
* Free DBS
* Fully paid induction programme and further training
* Employee Assistance Programme for 24-7 confidential support
* Online wellbeing resources
* Quarterly Staff Awards to reward & recognise our amazing staff's commitment and contribution

All applicants must be legally eligible to work in the UK by the start of employment as we are not able to offer sponsorship.

What you'll do:

* Support people with a range of mental and learning disabilities to live as independently and confidently as possible.
* Help with everyday tasks like personal care, preparing meals, taking medication, and keeping their home comfortable.
* Encourage and assist people to get involved in their communities — whether that's social activities, learning, volunteering, or work.
* Be a trusted presence, offering emotional support and helping to build confidence and life skills.
* Work closely with families, colleagues, and health professionals to make sure each person gets the right support.
* Keep clear, accurate notes and always follow our guidelines to keep everyone safe, respected, and well cared for.

About you:

· Loves connecting with people and encourages others to get involved in their community and enjoy shared experiences.

· Stays calm, kind, and open-minded, even when things get tough and handle challenges with empathy and resilience.

· Builds trusting, respectful relationships with customers, families, and colleagues through honest and thoughtful communication.

· Treats everyone with dignity, listens without judgement, and knows how to support others while keeping clear boundaries.

· Feels at home in a team environment, brings a positive attitude, and enjoys learning and growing with others.

· Thrives in busy, changing settings — organised, adaptable, and always looking for ways to do things better.

What you'll bring:

Essential:

* Must have some previous relevant sector work experience involving working with those with mental health needs and/or those with learning disabilities

Desirable:

* In-depth understanding of working with individuals with mental health needs.
* Knowledge of Supported Living placements and an understanding of risk management that comes along with this.
