We are searching for an experienced Accounting, Insight and Advisory Manager. Make an Impact at RSM UK.
Consulting brings together multiple teams across Transactions, Risk & Consulting, ABA, and Outsourcing to provide client-centric solutions for RSM’s current and future clients within the middle market. Our Consulting team has a major role in driving firm growth with over 1,700 people delivering almost £200m revenue.
At the heart of Consulting are six solutions: business transformation, deal services, finance function support, risk and governance, forensic and investigation services, and restructuring. Our solutions support clients in achieving strategic goals and empower our people to develop their careers.
We are looking for a Manager to join our Accounting and Business Advisory (ABA) team in Leeds, Newcastle, Manchester, Preston, Liverpool, Stoke, or Chester. This role sits within our Accounting, Insight and Advisory (AIA) team, managing a portfolio of clients across sectors.
You'll make an impact by:
* Managing the AIA team, developing team members through coaching, training, and mentoring
* Managing a portfolio of clients, including budgeting, cost management, and billing, primarily reporting under FRS102 and FRS105
* Project managing engagements from start to finish, including timelines, client and team management, reviewing processes, and delivery
* Planning resources, owning risk management, and maintaining communication with clients to build relationships
What we are looking for:
* Fully Qualified Accountant – ACA/ACCA
* Experience with UK GAAP and financial reporting
* Strong technical skills, including FRS 102 and FRS 105
* Knowledge of Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, or other cloud accounting packages
* Experience with CCH or similar professional accounts preparation packages
* Experience managing and overseeing a team within financial services
