Job Description:
Staffline Ireland is currently seeking a Logistics/Office Coordinator to join our client, a leading shipping organisation, on a long-term, temporary to permanent basis, at their site in the Duncrue area.
Key Responsibilities
1. Container Import and Export Activities:
o System Utilization: Use logistics and inventory management software to facilitate container import/export operations, ensuring all relevant data is accurately recorded and updated.
o Inventory Planning/Execution: Collaborate with internal teams (warehouse, shipping) to ensure efficient processing and appropriate inventory levels after each import/export.
2. Systematic Filing and Records Organization:
o Document Management: Create and maintain an organized filing system for import/export documentation, including customs declarations, shipping invoices, bills of lading, and packing lists.
o Efficient Filing: Ensure records are filed systematically and are easily accessible for future reference and audits.
3. Communication and Customer Service:
o Phone and Email Support: Address queries promptly, providing clear and accurate information related to shipments, inventory, and logistics issues.
o Customer Service Skills: Maintain professionalism, provide timely updates, resolve issues, and offer solutions to enhance customer satisfaction.
4. Additional Administrative Tasks:
o Assist with other administrative duties such as processing shipments, preparing reports, and handling logistics paperwork to support operations.
Key Skills Required:
* Strong organizational skills for filing and record-keeping.
* Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
* Customer-focused approach with the ability to manage inquiries and resolve issues efficiently.
* Good computer literacy and adaptability to new systems.
* Attention to detail for accuracy in data entry and documentation.
Hours of Work:
* 7am - 7pm, Monday to Friday
Rate of Pay:
* £ per hour (approximately £34,000 per year pro-rata)
