Job Opportunity: Education and Workforce Development Lead - NHS Borders AHP Services
We are seeking a dedicated professional to join NHS Borders AHP services in supporting the development of education and workforce initiatives across our services. This role complements the existing Practice Education Lead (PEL) position and involves contributing to various educational and workforce development projects.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Embedding support and supervision across AHP services
2. Developing Advance Practice and HCSW frameworks
3. Implementing protected learning time and job planning
4. Supporting Board strategies for recruitment and retention
5. Developing service-level workforce planning in accordance with safe staffing legislation
6. Providing a multi-professional approach to education and training, including programs for newly qualified practitioners and simulation training
