Your videos will play a direct role in helping us engage young people, educators, supporters, and communities with our mental health messaging. By producing compelling and accessible digital content, you'll help increase our visibility, grow our online community, and promote positive conversations around mental health. Your creative work will bring our campaigns, workshops, and youth voices to life, building awareness and making our content more shareable, relatable, and effective across platforms we have less experience with, such as TikTok, as well as Instagram and LinkedIn.
What are we looking for?
Essential experience At least 3 years' professional experience in video editing, social media content creation, or digital marketing. Proficiency in editing tools such as CapCut, Canva, or similar platforms. Proven ability to create engaging short-form content for platforms like TikTok and Instagram. Experience working to a brief and maintaining brand consistency across content. Ability to edit for accessibility and within brand guidelines (e.g. subtitles, text overlays). Desirable experience Understanding of mental health campaigns or charity sector communications. Familiarity with analytics tools and performance tracking on social media. Qualities we value Creative, self-motivated, and proactive. Strong storytelling instincts and a good eye for visual flow. Passion for youth mental health and creating positive social impact. Be Free Campaign is a youth mental health charity committed to helping young people feel confident, supported, and empowered. We're looking for a skilled video editor and content creator to support our digital storytelling through Instagram Reels, TikTok, and other social channels. This is a great opportunity for an experienced creative professional who understands social media trends and has a passion for making an impact through powerful short-form video content. You will Edit short-form video content (e.g. Reels, TikToks, Stories) from raw footage provided by our team. Add captions, transitions, and music to maximise accessibility and engagement. Stay on top of social media trends and identify ways to creatively adapt them to our work. Collaborate with our social media team to ensure content reflects our tone and brand guidelines. Contribute ideas for upcoming campaigns or storytelling formats. Support our growth on platforms including Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn. You'll be working with a small, passionate team, editing raw video footage and turning it into polished, engaging content. Your videos will help spread awareness, reduce stigma, and promote youth mental health services across the UK. We're especially looking for someone who can take initiative in identifying trends, suggest creative ideas, and align content with our mission. This is a remote, flexible role (based in Liverpool), ideal for someone seeking a creative outlet that delivers social impact, with an estimated time commitment of up to five posts per month.
