About the role:
Reporting to the Senior HR Manager, this is an exciting and varied role in which you will be delivering high quality administrative and payroll support, collaborating with UK and global teams.
You will be supporting on generalist HR processes, including colleague onboarding and lifecycle administration, partnering with internal and external stakeholders, and reporting to the wider business. In addition, you will be responsible for administering payroll in the UK and locations across Europe.
The department has an ethos of continuous improvement, refining systems and creating efficiencies. This, along with the rapid growth of the business, leads to a varied and dynamic working environment. You will be joining a professional, friendly, supportive and service-focused HR Team.
HR Generalist
* Employee onboarding and lifecycle administrative processes including contracts, references and right to work checks, promotions or other changes
* Accurate HR system data entry (Success Factors), with maintenance of employee files, monitoring data quality/accuracy and compliance with GDPR regulations
* Monitoring holidays, probationary periods, sickness/absence
* Supporting regular internal reporting, running reports to the wider business
* Administration of apprenticeship levy scheme, liaising with external providers
* Headcount forecasting
* Business partnering with relevant stakeholders, supporting with all HR related queries and correspondence
* Supporting on HR projects and initiatives as required
Payroll
* Preparation of payroll, liaising with the outsourced provider, Papaya, including associated administrative duties and ensuring changes are actioned on time
* Acting as a point of contact within the business for pay enquiries
* Supportingpayroll audits and compliance checks, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards
* Administration of P11D process
* Preparation and reconciliation of monthly General Ledger wages journals
* Preparation and reconciliation of payment summaries
* Maintenance of employee payroll records, including archiving and filing
* Coordination with HR regarding new starters/leavers, promotion/changes, remuneration and any other relevant matters
* Keeping up to date with up-and-coming legislative changes
Reward
* Coordination of the company benefits and expenses programmes
* Coordination, calculation and reconciliation of bonus and commission schemes
* Calculation, payment and reconciliation of payroll tax and other third-party payments
* Coordination of company pension scheme
* Supporting the annual pay review process
About you:
Candidates with at least five years' experience in HR and payroll administration, with strong MS Excel ability and SAP experience, will be likely to have the skills and knowledge required for the role. We are also looking for:
* Bachelor's degree in HR, Business and related subjects, or equivalent experience
* Experienced user of SAP
* Strong IT skills including Advanced MS Excel, HR systems
* Experience of administering payroll and outsourced payroll systems
* Experience of administering employee onboarding and lifecycle processes
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills and numerical aptitude
* Ability to clearly communicate with internal and external stakeholders
* Analytical, able to extract data and run reports to the wider business
* Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
* Organised, efficient and excellent time management skills
* Can-do attitude, happy to take ownership of tasks
* Flexibility and positive attitude to change
* Enjoyment of working in a fast-paced environment
