An exciting opportunity for an experienced Contract Manager to help lead our Responsive Repairs team, driving improvements for our community's homes. About the role
You will be responsible and accountable for the operational delivery of Cornwall Housing limited (CHL) responsive repairs. To deliver works to planned timescales, within budget and to a performance level that satisfies or exceeds both client and the business expectation. Working with the Director, Head of service and delivery manager and partners to manage and deliver work to maintain and improve the quality of homes and environment for tenants and communities.
To be successful, you'll have:
1. Demonstrable track record as an effective people leader and team manager
2. Proven practical knowledge and detailed understanding of Project Management, Risk Management, Health and Safety Legislation and Environment Law related to construction and engineering works
3. Significant experience of successfully working with external bodies to achieve project specific aims and objectives, of developing partnership working, building effective relationships and enhancing the reputation of the business with stakeholders and partners
4. Experience of giving advice to Senior Officers and Company Directors and building relationships with contractors and clients
5. Proven track record of successful of delivering repairs and maintenance delivery at a senior level in a property related business.
