Your mission
As a contracts manager, you will work as a member of the Legal and Contracts Department and you’ll be responsible for negotiating, drafting, and overseeing sales contracts related to Sungrow’s projects, ensuring issues are resolved quickly and effectively.
Responsibilities
1. Support the Contracts function in PV and ESS Business Units in the UK and other EU countries.
2. Review, draft, qualify, and negotiate contractual documents including framework agreements, sales contracts, GTC, purchasing agreements, confidentiality and non-disclosure agreements, and letters of intent.
3. Identify risks and deviations from Sungrow’s contracting principles, obtaining senior management approval when necessary.
4. Prepare and negotiate contractual qualifications with new and existing clients.
5. Summarize contracts and risks to inform project teams of obligations and risks.
6. Negotiate contractual and financial disputes on live projects, advising Commercial managers.
7. Maintain adherence to policies within Sungrow’s Business Management System.
Your profile
* Degree in Law or relevant Business qualification.
* Experience in PV, Energy Storage, Gas, or Construction industries.
* Commercially focused with knowledge of Contract Law and drafting skills.
* Experience in a Contracts or Legal department.
* Excellent communication skills, able to build relationships and explain legal concepts to non-legal audiences.
* Professionalism and credibility.
* Ability to influence and negotiate at all levels.
* Proactive, solution-oriented, and able to challenge constructively.
* Initiative, ownership, and teamwork skills.
* Attention to detail and analytical skills.
* Report writing and presentation skills; Chinese language skills are an advantage.
* Good planning and organizational skills to meet deadlines.
