We have been assigned by one of the UKs most prestigious NHS Trusts to help them recruit a Consultant in Histopathology on either a Substantive or NHS Fixed Term basis for 12 months to join their successful department.

Role Responsibilities
1. Provide sub-specialised histopathology and cytopathology services in selected specialties.
2. Review histopathology and cytopathology of patient samples.
3. Participate in cancer multidisciplinary team meetings (MDTs) relevant to subspecialties.
4. Ensure service quality through adherence to the Quality Management System and UKAS standards (ISO 15189).
5. Focus areas include breast, urological, gastrointestinal, and skin pathology.
6. Participate in subspecialist External Quality Assurance (EQA) schemes.
7. Engage in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and training, including CPD, EQA, and clinical audits.
