Due to continuous expansion, East Calder and Ratho Medical Practice have an exciting opening for a 6 Session Salaried GP to join our friendly, forward thinking and enthusiastic team.
Working alongside our existing GP Partners and Salaried GPs, we are seeking an enthusiastic salaried GP to join our team.
Our GP Partners look after East Calder Medical Practice in West Lothian and Ratho Medical Practice in Edinburgh giving the opportunity to work across two different teams and offering flexibility to share resources if needed. We are a practice with good work life balance and quality patient care at our core. We have a stable team of 10 partners, 2 salaried GPs, 2 GP Retainers and 5 ANPs. Our list size is over 16,100 in East Calder and over 3,400 patients in Ratho Medical Practice. We are continuously expanding due to extensive development in the area.

Our on - site, multi-disciplinary team includes Advanced Nurse Practitioners, Practice Nurses, Treatment Room Nurses, Mental Health Nurse, Healthcare Support Worker, Phlebotomists, Pharmacy team and community AHP`s. We enjoy excellent links with secondary care colleagues in both Livingston and Edinburgh. We also enjoy on site support from our extended NHS multidisciplinary team: Health Visitors, Midwifery, Community Nursing, Speech and Language Therapy

We are seeking GPs that are looking for a long term opportunity. You will have to be flexible and motivated with passion on providing exceptional service to our patients.
We are an accredited GPST training as well as Medical Student Teaching Practice.
The fine details
1. High tenured GP, nursing and Admin team
2. We are a training practice including ST3, ST1, HCP and Medical Students (4th and 6th year) with weekly involvement with Tutorials and Teaching.
3. Coffee and lunch time built in to daily template
4. Mixed urban/rural population. We are based on a commuting route just a few miles outside Edinburgh city

6. 7 weeks annual leave pro rata
7. Admin Time given during working hours for paperwork, encouraging a good work/life balance
8. Currently working with NHS Lothian to develop a brand new building that can accommodate over 19,000 patients at East Calder. Ratho Medical Practice is based in a new building. The two practices are less than 10mins drive from each other.
Job Title: Salaried GP
Salary: £11,500 per session per annum
Working Hours: 6 sessions per week. Mondays and Thursdays are essential. PERMANENT
