Overview
Part Time hours (must be able to work over 26 hours per week) opportunity for Full time Covering - NE5 Drivers preferred Salary - £12.21 per hour. Variety of shifts available, 10am-6pm, 10am-3pm or 11am-4pm.
Responsibilities
* Support two active gentlemen within a Supported Living setting, taking them out in the community to local Zumba classes or walking in National Trust Parks.
* Assist people with daily living tasks which may include domestic services, social support, help with finances, personal care, support with medication and meal preparation.
* Deliver creative, dynamic and person-centred services providing a range of individualised support to people living in shared supported living properties on a 1:1 basis.
Requirements / Qualifications
* Previous experience is essential with PEG; full training will also be provided.
* Driving is desirable.
* An enhanced Adult and Child DBS is required for this role.
* Ability to follow detailed support plans to ensure a consistent approach; role involves supporting individuals who may have autism or learning disabilities and can display challenging behaviour.
* We are seeking permanent contracted hours: Full Time/Part Time.
