About the role
We’re looking for a highly organised and professional Personal Assistant to the Hospital Manager and Senior Management Team to join our team at Practice Plus Group Hospital Gillingham. This is a pivotal role at the heart of the hospital, providing high‑level, confidential administrative support to senior leaders and helping ensure the smooth and effective day‑to‑day running of the site. You’ll act as a trusted gatekeeper, working with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, and supporting senior leaders to focus on delivering outstanding patient care. If you’re proactive, detail‑driven and thrive in a fast‑paced environment, this role offers variety, responsibility and the opportunity to make a real impact. This is a full‑time role, working 37.5 hours a week, however 30 hours will be considered for the right candidate.
What you'll be doing
* Providing comprehensive PA support to the Hospital Manager and Senior Management Team.
* Acting as the first point of contact, managing enquiries professionally by phone, email and in person.
* Managing complex diaries, prioritising appointments and screening correspondence.
* Preparing agendas, papers, minutes, briefings and presentations.
* Organising meetings, events and senior staff inductions.
* Supporting payroll administration and liaising with Finance to ensure accurate staff cost reporting.
* Maintaining confidential records, filing systems and site documentation.
* Supporting practising privileges processes and acting as a key link with central teams.
* Producing reports and collating information for external bodies such as CQC and ICBs.
* Providing flexible administrative support to the wider senior leadership team as required.

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence engaging at all levels.
* High attention to detail and accuracy, with a professional and discreet approach.
* Ability to use judgement, problem‑solve and work independently.
* Strong IT skills, particularly in Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
* Experience of diary management, minute‑taking and report preparation.
* A flexible, proactive attitude and commitment to teamwork.
