Connect Appointments are recruiting a reliable and hardworking individual to join our client's busy warehouse team in Chester-le-Street as a Warehouse Operative.
This is a great opportunity for ongoing, full-time work with a leading logistics provider.
What's on offer?
* Full-time temporary to permanent opportunity
* Working night shift hours
* Tuesday to Friday, 1:30am to 9:45am & Saturday, 1:30am to 10:45am
* Paid weekly at £13.44 per hour
What you'll be doing?
* Sorting and scanning parcels ready for dispatch
* Loading and unloading delivery vehicles
* Picking, packing, and labelling customer orders
* Checking items against delivery paperwork
* Reporting any damaged or missing items
* Keeping your work space clean and safe
* Assisting with stock control and general warehouse duties
What we're looking for?
* Previous experience in a warehouse, parcel sorting, or similar fast-paced xsngvjr role preferred
* Physically fit and able to lift parcels (manual handling involved)
* Good attention to detail and organisational skills
* Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and in a team
* Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment
