The Messiah University graduate program in social work offers a specialization in Advanced Generalist Practice which is delivered fully online. Faculty in the program prioritize collegiality while striving to be excellent teachers and scholars who love working with and mentoring students. This position will be located at the Main Campus (Mechanicsburg, PA), as teaching assignments will include graduate level (online) and undergraduate level (in-person) courses in the social sciences (e.g., social work, human development, psychology, education, criminal justice, sociology) based on faculty expertise and departmental needs. Responsibilities Teaching across the social work curriculum. Academic and professional student advising, active engagement in institutional service, and maintaining a scholarship agenda. Active participation in social work professional networks. Qualifications Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from a program accredited by the Council on Social Work Education, a doctoral degree in Social Work or related field preferred. Experience in higher education teaching, especially in an online format. Experience working in the social work field (at least 2 years post-MSW). Professional licensing preferred.
