1. Position: Automotive Service Advisor
2. Location: Dartford, Kent
3. Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 Basic + OTE
4. Hours: 8am - 6pm Monday - Friday, with Saturdays on a rota basis
About Our Client
Our client is a well-established, family-run dealership group in Dartford, Kent, renowned for delivering top-quality vehicles and outstanding customer service. With a strong emphasis on team collaboration and career progression, they are seeking a dedicated Automotive Service Advisor to ensure the smooth running of their service department and enhance customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities of an Automotive Service Advisor with Our Client:
5. Act as the primary point of contact for customers, scheduling service appointments and providing updates on vehicle repairs
6. Advise customers on service and repair needs, explaining technical details in a clear and professional manner
7. Coordinate with the workshop team to ensure timely and high-quality completion of vehicle services
8. Handle customer inquiries, resolve concerns, and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction
9. Prepare accurate invoices, process payments, and maintain detailed records of all service transactions
10. Upsell additional services and products where appropriate to enhance customer experience and department performance
11. Contribute to the efficient and smooth operation of the service department
Requirements of the Service Advisor:
12. Previous experience as a Service Advisor or in a customer-facing role within the automotive industry
13. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused mindset
14. Knowledge of automotive systems and repairs to effectively liaise between customers and technicians
15. Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
16. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
17. Proficient in using dealership management systems and basic computer applications
18. Valid UK driver’s license
