Account Manager - Public Sector Tech Sales
Join Candour Solutions as an Account Manager in the Public Sector Tech Sales team, based in York with hybrid/remote options. We are seeking a highly experienced professional to lead technology sales within the public sector, especially targeting police and fire departments.
Responsibilities
1. Build and maintain relationships with public safety organizations.
2. Identify licensing and solutions opportunities within existing and new accounts.
3. Establish trust and understand customer needs to foster long-term partnerships.
4. Conduct meetings and calls to qualify opportunities, demonstrate solutions, and scope projects.
5. Manage sales pipelines and communicate key deals to management.
6. Oversee renewal pipelines, maximizing upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
Qualifications
1. Proven experience in IT solutions account management, with knowledge of Microsoft products.
2. Experience in an IT reseller environment.
3. Experience working with fire and police departments is highly advantageous.
4. Strong skills in developing and supporting client sales cycles.
5. Ability to build credibility and confidence with clients.
6. Ambition to develop new business areas.
7. NPPV Level 3 clearance is required.
Day-to-Day
The successful candidate will foster client relationships, identify opportunities, and manage sales pipelines, focusing on public safety organizations to align IT solutions with their needs.
