Hardware Design & Verification Engineer
Location: Birmingham (Hybrid & Flexi-time)
Salary: £45,000 – £55,000
We are looking to hire a Hardware Design & Verification Engineer to join their Birmingham-based team, working across PCB design, fault diagnosis, and production support on a varied range of electronic products.
The role
* PCB schematic and circuit design for new and existing products
* PCB redesign, troubleshooting, and production support
* Component-level fault diagnosis, soldering, and rework
* Product testing and validation using industry test equipment
* Supporting engineering, production, and technical teams
* Contributing to future product development and new technologies
The ideal Hardware Design background
* Strong experience in electronics and hardware design
* Proven PCB design experience across the full product lifecycle
* Hands-on fault finding and practical electronics skills
* Experience with KiCAD (essential) and Altium (legacy support)
* Confident using oscilloscopes, multimeters, and signal generators
* Proactive, collaborative, and comfortable taking ownership
