The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various technical fields, including electrical and mechanical knowledge, with the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment. This role involves supporting operations through maintenance, supervising tasks, and providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
* Operate and maintain equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
* Interpret and work with schematics to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively.
* Perform welding tasks as required, adhering to safety standards and protocols.
* Utilise programmable logic controllers for automation processes.
* Conduct regular maintenance checks on machinery to prevent breakdowns.
* Supervise team members, providing guidance and support to enhance productivity.
* Deliver outstanding customer service, addressing client needs promptly and professionally.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve operational efficiency.
Skills
* Proficient in working with programmable logic controllers and understanding their applications.
* Strong ability to read and interpret schematics for troubleshooting purposes.
* Experience in welding techniques and practices.
* Solid electrical experience with a focus on safety and compliance.
* Comprehensive mechanical knowledge relevant to equipment maintenance.
* Demonstrated maintenance skills for effective equipment upkeep.
* Fluent in English with excellent communication abilities.
* Previous supervising experience is advantageous for team leadership roles.
