This role is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the Community Led Support Team 2 within the Adults and Health Directorate of the Council. You will be required to provide support for adults and a multi-disciplinary team of Care and Health Professionals. Job Purpose To safeguard vulnerable adults. To provide high quality, research-based casework service to all Adult Social Care service users and hold cases. To offer consultation, support, specialist advice and joint working to colleagues within Adult Social Care. To promote independent living where safe to do so. To comply with and promote legislation, statutory guidance and local policies and procedures Essential Qualifications and Experience : The post-holder will need to have: A Social Work qualification Registration with Social Work England (SWE). In-depth knowledge of legislation and statutory guidance relevant to working in Adults Services. At least two years’ experience of directly working with adults and families with a range of disabilities and support needs. A Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check at an Enhanced level with Adults Barred List is required for this role.
