Rate: £30-£36k per annum

AMLR is working in partnership with a reputable small engineering company who are currently recruiting for a skilled mechanical/ diesel fitter to join their team to work along the maintenance manager.
Specialising in turning food, liquid and agricultural waste to produce biogas.
Due to the nature of the market our client supplies into, all candidates must be UK residents.
Responsibilities and Duties are required for the Mechanical Diesel Fitter role:
* Maintain all plant equipment, such as pumps, mixers, motors, JCB Telehandler, heat exchangers, gas storage, sensors, alarms, valves, safety systems etc
* Ensure the Spare Parts required are recorded and stock levels managed to ensure maintenance downtime is minimal.
* Able to make component changes and fault finding
* Responsible maintaining the physical mechanical aspects of the plant
* Manage materials handling tasks, ensuring that all materials are stored and used efficiently within the warehouse environment
* Providing out of hours servicing or repairs of critical equipment. This 'on call' cover is on a rota
* Experience carrying out mechanical works in a similar industry such as agriculture, waste water, food manufacturing etc is a key advantage.
Qualifications and Skills are required for the Mechanical diesel fitter role:
An Apprenticeship or equivalent City & Guilds qualification is desirable
