Quality Control Technician
Location: Market Drayton
Salary: £34,923 + Bonus + Benefits
Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off (Days | 7am–7pm)

We’re looking for a Quality Control Technician to join our Market Drayton site, supporting laboratory testing and factory quality standards to ensure our products meet the highest specifications before reaching our customers.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with laboratory, microbiology, or food manufacturing experience looking to develop their career in a fast-paced FMCG environment.
What you’ll be doing
1. Carrying out microbiological, chemical, and physical testing
2. Ensuring all testing is completed in line with quality schedules and standards
3. Investigating and escalating out-of-spec results (OOS)
4. Supporting root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective actions
5. Conducting sampling and environmental monitoring
6. Maintaining accurate lab records and reports
7. Supporting internal audits and compliance (HACCP, BRCGS)
8. Working closely with production teams to improve quality performance
What we’re looking for
Essential:
9. Experience in Quality, Laboratory, or Food Manufacturing
10. Knowledge of microbiology or analytical testing
11. Strong attention to detail
12. Good communication and IT skills
Desirable:
13. Qualification in Chemistry, Food Science, or similar
14. HACCP / Food Safety knowledge
15. FMCG or dairy experience
16. Auditing experience
