Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Chef to join our expanding kitchen team, New Coast Kitchen is 2 AA rosette restaurant, Michelin recommended and included in the good food guide for 3 years in a row.
We are offering in the region of £16ph including tips, daily free staff food, discounts, possible on site accommodation ad to be surrounded by great chefs to learn your craft from, motivated and friendly working environment with lots of opportunity to progress.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to delivering high-quality meals in a fast-paced kitchen environment. As a CDP here you will play a crucial role in meal preparation and food presentation, ensuring that each dish meets our standards of excellence and adheres to food safety regulations. This role will have freedom to create and will be able to have input to each menu, we are looking to someone who loves to create and push our standards wherever possible.
Experience
* Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is essential; we welcome those eager to learn so if you are a junior chef we encourage you to apply but for this role we expect a certain level of experience and ability.
* Familiarity with meal preparation techniques and culinary skills is advantageous.
* Knowledge of food safety standards and practices is essential.
* Ability to work well under pressure in a busy kitchen setting while maintaining attention to detail.
* Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
