Higher‑Level Pharmacy Technician – Molecular Imaging Research Centre
We have an exciting opportunity for a Higher‑Level Pharmacy Technician to join the Molecular Imaging Research Centre (MIRC) team within the Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.
The successful applicant will initially be appointed as a Band 4 Pharmacy Technician to undertake structured competencies within an agreed timeframe. All objectives, training and relevant qualifications must be completed within a minimum of 2–3 months and a maximum of 18 months. Band 5 will be awarded upon satisfactory completion of training.
Responsibilities include:
* Working within the well‑established aseptic service, providing high‑quality aseptic services.
* Participating in the flexible rota system, including weekend and bank holiday working when required.
* Developing new services and undertaking further training in line with the evolving needs of the department.
* Maintaining excellent interpersonal and communication skills and demonstrating commitment and motivation for service improvement.
Qualifications and experience required:
* Registered Pharmacy Technician.
* Post‑registration experience working within an aseptic or hospital pharmacy team.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Commitment and motivation to undertake further training and service development.
