About Our Client
Our client is in the Financial Sector and is looking to grow the business by hiring their first Test Manager. They have a Central London office and this role is twice a week on site.
Job Description
You will be the first dedicated test resource on site. Currently testing is being done by developers and it is very inconsistent a bit of a mess so they are looking to hire a Test Manager to come on board and define a new strategy from scratch. This role will hands on testing alongside strategy for this year and you will be the sole Test Resource.
3. Take a lead of the testing suite
4. Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies and plans to ensure high-quality deliverables.
5. Coordinate with development teams to identify and resolve software defects effectively.
6. Supervise the execution of test cases and monitor the testing process to ensure compliance with standards.
7. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements and ensure test coverage.
8. Analyse test results, prepare reports, and provide recommendations for improvements.
9. Oversee the integration of automated testing tools and processes.
10. Ensure adherence to best practices and maintain documentation for all testing activities.
The Successful Applicant
Must haves:
11. Experience in defining and implementing test strategies
12. Set up a test function from scratch in the past
13. Hands on testing experience in current/last role
14. Automation testing experience (Playwright, Selenium etc)
15. Strong communication skills
