We are seeking a committed and capable Year 6 Teaching Assistant to join a primary school in Brent on a full-time basis from January 2026 until July 2026. About the role As a Year 6 Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher to support teaching and learning, with a particular focus on English and Maths. You will provide targeted support to individuals and small groups, helping pupils build confidence, consolidate key skills, and prepare effectively for assessments. Key Responsibilities Supporting the class teacher in delivering lessons, particularly in English and Maths Working with small groups and individual pupils to reinforce key learning objectives Assisting with SATs preparation and intervention sessions Helping to maintain a focused and positive classroom environment Monitoring pupil progress and providing feedback to teaching staff Adhering to safeguarding and school policies at all times About the school The school is a supportive and well-organised primary school in Brent, with a strong focus on pupil progress and high expectations.
