This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate teacher who thrives in the upper or lower Key Stage 2 classroom and is committed to helping pupils achieve their full potential. The role As a KS2 Teacher, you will take responsibility for planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons that support pupils' academic progress and personal development. You will work alongside a supportive senior leadership team, teaching assistants and specialist staff to ensure every child feels confident, valued and challenged. Responsibilities Planning and delivering high-quality lessons across the KS2 curriculum Creating a warm, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment Assessing, tracking and reporting on pupil progress Supporting pupils' social, emotional and academic development Working closely with teaching assistants and wider school staff Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies Building strong relationships with pupils, parents and colleaguesAbout the school Supportive, friendly and well-established staff team Strong emphasis on pupil well-being and positive behaviour Excellent resources, including modern classrooms and outdoor learning spaces Easily accessible from Chester, Ellesmere Port, North Wales and surrounding areasThe ideal candidate Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential Experience teaching within Key Stage 2 Confident, enthusiastic and able to deliver engaging lessons Strong communication and interpersonal skills Reliable, proactive and committed to high standards Understanding of safeguarding and school policiesSafeguarding Prospero Teaching is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
