The Role
The Senior Audit Manager will take ownership of audit engagements, from planning through to completion. You will manage and mentor audit teams, deliver high-quality audit services, and ensure compliance with professional standards.
The Senior Audit Manager will be responsible for:
1. Leading audit engagements across a varied client portfolio.
2. Managing, mentoring, and developing audit teams through 1-2-1s, feedback, and training.
3. Reviewing and approving audit work papers and reports.
4. Maintaining strong client relationships and acting as a trusted point of contact.
5. Ensuring compliance with audit methodology, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
6. Supporting the growth and development of the audit practice.
The successful Senior Audit Manager will possess:
7. ACA or ACCA qualified with substantial post-qualification audit experience.
8. Proven experience managing and developing audit teams.
9. Strong technical knowledge of accounting and audit standards.
10. Excellent client-facing, communication, and leadership skills.
11. A proactive, organised, and commercially aware approach.
