As a Sales Associate, you are the face of Berghaus.
You’ll create a welcoming, engaging environment for every customer—offering expert advice, sharing product knowledge, and helping people find the right gear for their needs. This is a hands‑on, customer‑focused role where your energy and attitude make the difference.
What you’ll be doing
Customer Experience
* Deliver friendly, confident, and authentic customer service
* Engage customers to understand their needs and recommend the right products
* Share product knowledge in a clear, relatable way (waterproofing, layering)
Product & Brand Knowledge
* Build strong understanding of Berghaus products and technologies
* Represent the brand with enthusiasm and credibility
* Stay curious and up to date with new products and innovations
Sales & Commercial Awareness
* Contribute to achieving store targets (sales, conversion, ATV)
* Support upselling and cross‑selling through genuine recommendations
Store Standards
* Maintain high standards of visual merchandising and store presentation
* Support stock replenishment, deliveries, and general store operations
* Help ensure the store is always clean, organised, and customer‑ready
Team Contribution
* Work collaboratively with the team to create a positive store environment
* Support colleagues during busy periods and contribute to team success
What you’ll bring
* Previous retail or customer‑facing experience preferred (but not essential)
* Positive, approachable, and enthusiastic
* Passion for helping customers and delivering great service
* Interest in the outdoors or performance‑led products
* Strong communication and people skills
* Willingness to learn and develop product knowledge
