I am currently recruiting for a Finance Assistant to join a fast-paced, collaborative, and high-performing finance team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, has a keen eye for detail, and is looking to gain hands-on experience in a busy and supportive finance function.
\n\n

Key Responsibilities
\n\n
As Finance Assistant, you will play a key role in managing utility-related financial processes, supporting accurate billing and reconciliation activities, and ensuring effective communication with both suppliers and internal stakeholders.
\n\n
Your responsibilities will include:
\n\n
\n\t
* Maintaining the Master Utility Coding Sheet to ensure data integrity and consistency
\n
\n\n
\n\t
* Performing statement reconciliations between SPVs and utility providers
\n\t
* Leading and chairing arrears calls with utility suppliers to resolve outstanding balances
\n\t
* Reviewing utility uploads received from our utilities broker for accuracy and completeness
\n\t
* Reviewing utility recharge information from the broker to support accurate client recharges
\n\t
* Auditing suppliers to ensure complete and timely billing is received, identifying any missing invoices or billing gaps that may lead to disputes or disconnections
\n\t
* Proactively chasing property managers for change of tenancy information to keep records up to date
\n\t
* Liaising with property managers to collect accurate meter readings and support the resolution of billing queries
\n

* Proactive and eager to build on their finance experience within a supportive team

* A team player with a positive, can-do attitude
