1. Time served relevant trade discipline, or relevant NVQ / SVQ / HNC / HND (or equivalent)
2. Degree (or equivalent) in engineering discipline an advantage
3. MIST / BOSIET (for offshore)
4. Significant relevant completion and commissioning experience
5. Oil and gas experience advantageous or proven track record in industry with transferable skills
6. Exposure to working within a technical environment
7. Experience of people management within a Lead role
8. Fully conversant with regards to discipline technical knowledge
9. Proven experience of interpreting discipline documentation
10. Sound knowledge and understanding of Risk Assessments (RA), Hazard and Operability Studies (HAZOPS) and Hazard Identification Studies (HAZIDS)
11. Ability to work with timelines / targets
12. Ability to be assertive and drive culture change when required
13. Ability to advise system and subsystem priorities within construction activities with a view to achieving early handover
14. Ability to monitor work progress and report against the plan
15. Provide leadership in promoting, demonstrating and being a role model in accordance with company core values, ethics policy, leadership framework and PCE
16. Can demonstrate good understanding of company standards, processes and procedures and how they are used in work execution
17. Progressively demonstrate a level of appreciation of the work executed in relevant discipline and level of knowledge of technology within discipline area
