Learning Support Assistant – SEMH PRU (Primary)
Location: Ferryhill | KS1 & KS2 | Full-Time
Protocol Education are currently recruiting for a resilient and committed Learning Support Assistant to work within a specialist PRU setting in Ferryhill, supporting pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
This is a challenging but incredibly rewarding role, ideal for someone who thrives in dynamic environments and is passionate about supporting children who need it most.
A typical day will include:
* Supporting pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis
* Managing and responding to challenging behaviour
* Supporting emotional regulation and wellbeing
* Assisting the teacher with adapted lessons
* Helping pupils re-engage with learning in a structured way

* Strong behaviour management or willingness to learn
* A proactive and positive attitude
* Driving is highly desirable due to the school location

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
