Overview:Chester Parts & Bodyshop DeesideSalary: up to £44,000 OTE (including basic up to £38,000 plus bonus of £6,000, uncapped)Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8am - 5pmChester Bodyshop Deeside is recruiting for an experienced MET Technician to play a vital role within our Bodyshop team. Working within a state-of-the-art Bodyshop, you will be tasked with repairing damaged vehicles in line with manufacturer’s specifications.Headed up by our fantastic manager Graham Dunroe who shares a wealth of experience within Lookers. You will receive training and guidance from the best! At Lookers, we want you to be part of our success.Responsibilities:Carrying out a variety of cosmetic repairs including stripping, refurbishing, and fitting parts to damaged vehiclesAct as a multi-skilled MET Technician undertaking all aspects of repair as requiredWork effectively as part of a team of skilled Bodyshop TechniciansFull use of PPE and adherence to health and safety requirements when carrying out repairsAdhere to manufacturer repair guidelines when carrying out repairsLiaise with other internal colleagues to ensure effective communication and teamworkingEnsure any administration or supporting documentation is produced in line with company processEnsure efficient working by adhering to defined repair completion timesQualifications:For this role we are looking for someone who has had previous experience in a similar role and has completed a technician modern apprenticeship or equivalent. We would like you to have a working knowledge of automotive systems and the specific materials required for the repair process. You need to have an honest and diligent approach to work with the ability to meet deadlines without compromising quality of work.
