Overview
The person holding this position will report to our Director of Global Indirect Procurement and be a member of the Procurement team. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Global Category Buyer to join our Global procurement team. This role is ideal for candidates with a background in business operations, procurement, and some experience in project coordination. You will support sourcing activities across travel, fleet, and IT categories, manage supplier relationships, and contribute to cross-functional initiatives to ensure cost-effective and compliant procurement of services and technology. Responsibilities
* Achieve cost savings and value creation across IT, travel, and fleet categories.
* Develop and execute sourcing strategies aligned with business goals.
* Build strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure performance and innovation.
* Ensure adherence to procurement policies, legal requirements, and risk controls.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand needs and deliver solutions.
* Manage complex procurement activities across diverse categories, including strategic sourcing, supplier management, and cross-functional collaboration. Optimize spend, ensure compliance, and deliver value through contract negotiation, performance tracking, and stakeholder engagement. Balance global strategies with local execution while integrating sustainability and risk management into procurement decisions.
Qualifications
* Bachelor\'s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., CIPS, CPSM, CPM) are a plus.
* Experience: Procurement or category management experience. Specific experience in IT, travel, or fleet procurement is highly desirable. Exposure to multinational environments and cross-functional teams.
