We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Aircraft Maintenance Control Engineer to join our dynamic Operations Control Centre team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating maintenance activities to ensure the safety, reliability, and airworthiness of our fleet. This role requires a strong technical background in aircraft systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Monitor and manage all aspects of aircraft maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies Coordinate with maintenance teams to prioritise and schedule maintenance tasks, ensuring minimal disruption to flight operations Analyse maintenance data and reports to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement Act as the primary point of contact for maintenance-related inquiries and issues, providing timely and effective solutions Ensure accurate documentation and record-keeping of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspections, and compliance checks Participate in safety audits and contribute to the development of safety management systems Provide technical support and guidance to maintenance personnel as needed Requirements A B2 or B1 Licensed Aircraft Engineer with proven ability, ideally holding B777, B767 & B757 aircraft type ratings with no limitations, a bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering or a related field Proven experience in aircraft maintenance, engineering, or a similar role Strong understanding of aircraft systems, maintenance practices, and regulatory standards Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions under pressure Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams Proficiency in maintenance management software and data analysis tools Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously What you’ll get in return: A competitive salary and as part of a growing DHL population you will receive access to a variety of our excellent benefits.
