The role (TikTok is your home)
This is a hands-on role for someone who loves making content and has the confidence to bring a brand story to life on camera.
You’ll capture real behind-the-scenes HONA moments (product development, launches, HQ life, education, community, the team) and turn them into TikTok-first storytelling that builds trust and demand and, yes, supports sales.
TikTok Shop matters here, but we’re not looking for someone who lives in spreadsheets. We’re looking for a creative with personality and strong storytelling instincts who’s also able to use the platform mechanics and algorithm, to support the wider marketing team.
You’ll be a big part of the marketing team, including a Meta-focused Social Media Executive, and you’ll both report into the Senior Marketing Manager. We’re a collaborative team, so you’ll need a flexible, hands-on attitude during launches and busy periods.
What you’ll do
Content & storytelling (your main focus)
* Plan and produce TikTok-first content aligned to launches and weekly content pillars
* Film and edit high-frequency short-form content (high volume) using formats that feel authentic (BTS, POV, UGC-style, education, product truth)
* Build recurring content series that showcase the HONA story (not cringey dance content)
Performance & optimisation
* Use TikTok Studio to track what works, what doesn’t, and iterate weekly (hooks, watch time, saves, CTR, conversion)
* Share insights and recommendations to improve content performance across TikTok, YouTube and podcast clips
TikTok Shop + affiliates (commercially astute)
* Keep TikTok Shop content and promotions moving, tagging products and supporting conversion
* Support affiliate outreach and track creator performance
* Help troubleshoot basic listing or platform issues and elevate when needed
Live (important, but not everything)
* Support and gradually take ownership of Live activity (appearing on lives, then hosting as product knowledge grows)
* Optimise live structure and product tagging to improve conversion
* Repurpose TikTok content across YouTube Shorts and other video-led channels
* Support the monthly podcast schedule and turn episodes into short-form clips
What we’re looking for
* 2–4 years’ experience growing or managing a TikTok account (in‑house or agency)
* Confident filming and editing short-form video (fast turnaround, high output)
* Strong storytelling instincts, on‑camera confidence, and a brand‑building mindset
* Commercially curious: you don’t need to be a “trader”, but you do know what converts and you’re happy to grow revenue
* Organised and self‑motivated (you can plan, execute, and improve without being chased)
* Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, collaborative team
* Beauty, nails, hair, fashion or aesthetics experience is highly desirable
