Youll take ownership of the Zero Harm strategy for road transport, ensuring our logistics activity operates to the highest safety and compliance standards. Working closely with operational teams, external hauliers, and regulatory bodies, you will influence safety performance across a large and complex transport network. What Youll Be Doing Lead the national road safety strategy for logistics, ensuring alignment with UK transport legislation, Holcim global standards and industry best practice. Own the performance of key safety metrics, driving continuous improvement across the logistics and haulier network. Lead serious incident investigations, ensuring robust root cause analysis and implementation of preventative actions. Design and deliver audit and compliance programmes across logistics operations, including haulier safety audits, telematics monitoring and regulatory readiness. Who you are You have extensive experience in road transport safety, logistics safety or fleet compliance, ideally within a national or multi-site operation. You bring strong knowledge of UK transport legislation, Operator Licence requirements and regulatory frameworks. You are confident leading safety investigations and translating findings into practical improvement initiatives. You are comfortable influencing a wide range of stakeholders, from operational teams and senior leaders to external hauliers and regulatory bodies such as DVSA and HSE.
