Job Title: Content Marketing Specialist (Pensions and Investment)

A newly created position is available for a Content Marketing Specialist with experience in pensions and investments-related content marketing planning and delivery. The role involves building out the investment content strategy and executing content plans to support the Brand & Marketing strategy and trading objectives.
The successful candidate will create compelling content across various formats and media, collaborate with marketing teams, measure content effectiveness, and work closely with areas like Royal London Asset Management to repurpose relevant content.
Ideal candidates will have a strong background in content marketing within the financial services industry.
About the role
1. Plan, develop, and deliver investment content aligned with the marketing plan, utilizing appropriate formats and media.
2. Ensure content activities support new business targets and strategic objectives, including brand building.
3. Manage day-to-day content planning and delivery, identifying relevant themes for adviser, customer, and employer audiences.
4. Use data and insights to test, learn, and optimize content continually.
5. Collaborate on cross-functional projects to support major campaigns and initiatives.
6. Identify and manage internal specialists and external suppliers, including creative agencies and freelancers.
7. Work with other business areas to identify opportunities and develop compelling messages and content.
About you
1. Excellent writing and editing skills, ideally with experience in a similar role or a journalistic background.
2. Experience creating content for diverse formats and audiences, including promotional and thought leadership content.
3. Good knowledge of pensions and investments, with the ability to simplify complex concepts.
4. Understanding of FCA regulations as they relate to content.
5. Strong planning and organizational skills.
6. Self-motivated, able to work independently and start quickly.
