Finance Department:
The Finance Department manages budgeting, invoicing, payroll coordination, financial forecasting, audit preparation, purchasing, and financial compliance. As the Finance Officer, you will support the Finance Manager and School Business Manager in ensuring that all financial processes run smoothly, accurately, and efficiently.
Key responsibilities include:
• Processing invoices, purchase orders, and payment runs.
• Managing accounts payable and receivable.
• Supporting payroll administration.
• Assisting with budget monitoring and departmental spending.
• Preparing reports for leadership and governors.
• Handling school trip payments, parental billing, and financial queries.
• Maintaining financial records in line with audit requirements.
• Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and school policies.
You will contribute to strengthening the financial health of the school while supporting staff, parents, and students with clarity, professionalism, and efficiency.
Requirements:
• Experience in financial administration (education sector desirable).
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Proficiency with finance software and Excel.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
• Ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
