Electrical Engineer
Hours: 40 hrs/week
Location: Farnborough
Mitie is looking for an Electrical Engineer to form part of the on‑site team and be responsible for carrying out a wide range of commercial electrical installation, maintenance, fault finding and reactive repairs to the various LV electrical systems on site. You will also perform a range of service tasks unrelated to your primary trade at the Farnborough location.
Role Responsibilities
* Carry out minor surveys and inspections.
* Write simple reports.
* Achieve contract SLA/KPI for all reactive and planned work orders across all service lines for the contract site.
* Comply with all Health and Safety policies and procedures.
* Perform planned preventative and reactive maintenance tasks on all associated water services equipment, including fault diagnostics and repair.
* Participate in adherence to Quality System documentation.
Required Qualifications
* Experience in 3‑phase and single‑phase electrical installations & repair, motors, pumps and some controls is desirable.
* Competent LV electrical installation and maintenance excluding testing.
* City & Guilds or equivalent qualifications.
* Good Health and Safety awareness and knowledge.
* Full and clean driving licence.
* Ability to work at heights is advantageous.
