Senior Chartered Accountant

With continued growth, we have an opportunity for a Senior Chartered Accountant to join our team.
The Role
The key aspect of the role is to manage a client portfolio providing accounts, tax and guidance. This will include:
* Meeting with clients to discuss their financial affairs
* Ensuring that clients’ statutory obligations are met in a timely manner
* Assisting clients in their business profitability, strategic direction and structure with effective tax planning
* Reviewing work and supporting more junior staff in the preparation of their work for you.
We would welcome, although not essential, your input to the general operational and strategic direction of the firm.
The Ideal Candidate
We are a people focussed firm and are looking for an individual with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to manage your workload effectively.
Technical capabilities required are:
* ICAS / ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in general practice
If you have these qualifications and are currently outwith general practice but would like to rejoin we can provide training and support to get you back up to speed.
The position is full or part-time with flexible working including hybrid.
