What the Job Involves As a Senior Social Worker in the Early Intervention Team for Psychosis, based in Erith, you are responsible for providing comprehensive mental health services, prioritizing incoming referrals, and ensuring effective resource and time management. You will manage a small but complex caseload, acting as Care Coordinator for service users, while supporting the Team Manager in service delivery and offering guidance to junior team members. Your role includes taking a professional lead in AMHP practice within the team, participating in the AMHP duty rota, and contributing to service development initiatives. You will also supervise social work staff, assist in decision-making processes regarding client care, and collaborate with multi-disciplinary colleagues and external partners to ensure a quality professional service.
