We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a welcoming primary school in Northumberland from September 2025. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference supporting children’s learning in a friendly and inclusive school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver planned lessons and learning activities across the primary age range.
* Support the class teacher with planning, preparation, and assessment.
* Lead small group work and targeted interventions to support pupil progress.
* Foster a positive, safe, and engaging learning environment.
Requirements:
* HLTA qualification (or equivalent) and relevant classroom experience.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
