Overview
As a Strategy Coordinator you will play a pivotal role in delivering dedicated support to victims of sexual assault. We are seeking passionate and caring individuals, to join us. This is an opportunity to be a difference maker for those who need it most.
Main duties of the job
Key Responsibilities:
* Be part of all strategy meetings with both the police and social care and advise with the aid of strict criteria the best route for the child or young person.
* Ensure that children who require a child protection medical are not brought to the SARC and are directed to the most appropriate Paediatrician.
* Ensure that all elements of the child’s attendance, whether acute or non-recent, are discussed as part of a multi-agency arena.
* Act as Crisis Worker and provide cover for both the Paediatric and adult Forensic Services at The SARC(s).
* Maintain accurate record keeping/documentation and confidential client notes as per protocols.
* Liaise with other voluntary and statutory agencies to meet health and psychological needs of the patients.
* Ensure secure storage of all SARC files and forensic samples for potential use in a criminal investigation.

Location: Oakwood Place - Essex SARC, and Regional SARC cover (Hertfordshire and Cambridgeshire)
Hours: 32 hours per week
Shift Patterns: 8 hour shifts, 9am - 5pm, 7 days a week
Salary: £29,699 pro rata based on 40 hours per week
