Job Description
We are currently seeking a dynamic and motivated Interim Team Manager to join a Community Integrated Urgent Care Team (IUCT) in the Tameside, Greater Manchester area. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in leading and driving forward service transformation plans in close partnership with Health colleagues and system-wide partners.
The IUCT provides short-term wraparound care and support (up to 72 hours) for people in their own homes, ensuring a rapid response to those in crisis. The team is made up of Social Workers, Assessors, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Assistant Practitioners, and Care Assistants, all working collaboratively to achieve the best possible outcomes.

About the Role:
* Lead, supervise, and support 3 Advanced Team Managers (ATM's) and a team of 18 Social Workers
* Work in partnership with Health colleagues to deliver rapid response in the community for adults (18+) in crisis
* Participate in joint visits with Health professionals, assessing individuals who may require hospital admission, emergency placements, or intensive community support
* Drive forward best practice, ensuring effective performance management and high-quality service delivery
* Office presence required 3 days per week (Mondays essential)
To be considered for the role, ideally you will have:
* BSc Social worker or equivalent
* SWE registration
* Leadership/Management/Supervisory skills
* Proven background in Social Work, with experience managing teams in adult services or urgent care settings
* Confidence in partnership working with Health colleagues and system partners
* A problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced, crisis response environment
