Overview
Essa Academy is seeking to appoint two enthusiastic and innovative Teachers of Science. The successful candidates will be excellent classroom practitioners who are able to inspire and motivate our young people to fulfil their potential, demonstrating the drive and skill to raise standards of students' attainment and achievement.

Salary Range: MPS1 UPS3 (£32,916 - £51,048 FTE)
Working Type: Full Time
Base: Essa Academy, Lever Edge Lane Bolton, BL3 3HH
Please note: the post holder will be engaging in regulated activity, working mainly or wholly with children. This position is exempt from the rehabilitation of offender’s act 1974. It is an offence to apply for this role if you are barred from engaging in regulated activity relevant to children.

* Monitor and track student progress within their classes, setting high expectations which inspire, motivate and challenge students.
* Promote good progress and outcomes by students, demonstrating good subject and curriculum knowledge.
* Manage behaviour effectively to ensure a good and safe learning environment and fulfil wider professional responsibilities.
