Main duties of the job
* Organising and co-ordinating outpatient clinics, assessing care needs, and developing, implementing, and evaluating programmes of care.

* Providing specialist information and support within the outpatient setting to both patients and nursing support staff.

Job Responsibilities
* Assist consultants in clinic, prepare and check patient records, learn to apply braces and splints, work in reception, liaise with multidisciplinary teams, and support paediatric outpatient clinics on a rotational basis.
* Perform comprehensive assessments of patients' nursing needs, plan, implement, and evaluate care, supporting junior colleagues.
* Work collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team to meet patient needs.
* Manage clinic operations during shifts as designated by the clinic manager.
* Maintain a safe clinical environment, ensuring cleanliness and readiness of materials and equipment.
* Support in managing specific patient groups and deliver evidence-based nursing care.
* Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
* Respond to demands and tasks in a rapidly changing environment, liaising with team members.
* Promote effective communication and education to patients and relatives.
Person Specification
Qualifications: Essential: Current NMC pin. Desirable: Previous outpatient experience.
Skills: Essential: Excellent communication skills. Desirable: Computer literacy.
Knowledge: Essential: Wound assessment. Desirable: Multidisciplinary knowledge.
