About the role: Start Date: 1 st September Ongoing/long-term As an SEN TA, you’ll play a vital role in supporting students with a range of additional needs — including learning difficulties, autism, ADHD, and social, emotional and mental health challenges. You will work closely with teaching staff, the SENCO, and external professionals to provide tailored support in and outside the classroom. Key Responsibilities: Providing 1-1 and small group support for students with SEN Supporting students social and emotional development Monitoring progress and feeding back to the SENCO What we’re looking for: Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN (school-based preferred) A calm, empathetic, and patient approach A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children Excellent communication and interpersonal skills This is a great opportunity for individuals who have SEN experience but are seeking a role in education, or established Teaching Assistants who are looking to gain experience within an SEN department.
