Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a Housing Options Advisor for a Local Authority Client in Northamptonshire. In this role, you will manage a caseload of homelessness cases, provide advice and support, and make statutory housing decisions to help reduce backlogs. Duties: Assess and manage homelessness cases, providing advice and support to customers at risk. Make statutory decisions, including "not homeless" and "not eligible" outcomes, and produce clear decision letters. Work collaboratively with stakeholders and housing partners to resolve cases efficiently. Use the Jigsaw system to maintain accurate records and manage your caseload independently. Qualifications and Experience: The successful candidate will have the following skills / experience: In-depth knowledge of Part 7 of the Housing Act 1996 and homelessness legislation. Experience in housing advice, casework, and statutory decision-making. Strong communication and negotiation skills with customers and stakeholders. Proficient in using housing management systems, preferably Jigsaw, to manage caseloads.
