We’re seeking a talented Diagnostics Technician to join our fast-paced engineering team in Great Yarmouth. This is a great opportunity for a candidate with a strong background in Electronic Engineering with excellent problem-solving skills to progress their career within the Aerospace and Defence sector. In this exciting role you’ll support implementation of the test set up, and verification plan, as defined by Test System Development Engineering, and support diagnostics and fault finding. Successful candidate must be a self-starter and be prepared to guide and feedback to Operations and Engineering. Key responsibilities will include Diagnose faults on highly complex chip & wire assemblies down to component level. Analyse & look for trends in results/failures. Update documentation to improve first time yields. Help maintain the customer returns process. Ensure that all Environmental Health and Safety / Company Policies are adhered to at all times. You will have responsibility to make suggestions on Continuous Improvement within the business. This responsibility forms part of all employees’ job description. Undertake any other duties and responsibilities as required to maintain and/or improve the efficiency, quality and service of the Engineering team.
